WILLEMSTAD — The Dutch company Ballast Nedam Infra BV, the French Bouygues Bâtiment International and the Italian Pessina Construzioni Spa and GMS Studio Associato are the three building consortiums still in the race to build the new hospital, Foundation Sona reports on their website. The selection committee has evaluated the business plans of the five remaining parties according to the Tender Guide to select the three candidates for the competition-oriented dialogue. An independent notary also tested this selection. The three parties are invited to participate with the competition-oriented dialogue. Which local parties will be involved with the project will be announced during the dialogue.

The building consortium, consisting of Brossier Company Curaçao BV, Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Architects on the Maas and Engineering Firm Linssen BV dropped out because they had scored less in the selection procedure than the three remaining candidates. Earlier on in the procedure, BAM International BV and Robins & Morton Group withdrew due to various reasons. Pegasus Emergency Management LLC had also declined the honor.
